3rd Video - Straight to the Interweb

Here is our 3rd video on iMovie. It might be awhile before we can post another video; all of these holidays have given Ben and I way too much free time. We hope that all of you had a good and restful Easter holiday.

Shalom,
Camp Good Times

How much do you bench?

Nothing says 'tough guy' like a cut-off muscle t-shirt and elastic waist jeans....

Getting into dad's stuff

It was laundry day...aka "no pants Monday" and Ben was busy getting into Dane's notebooks for work. Luckily he had time to turn around and give me a one handed "soooo big" without prompting. Today he is busy getting into every book on the first two shelves. Aunt Julie arrives tonight!

Ben's first peaceful protest

This Saturday we joined hundreds (thousands?) of people in the Grand March for Housing. The hope of drawing attention to the need for affordable housing among other things was met by a great group who walked through the city together. We ended at a rally at the Art Gallery. Here is a photo and brief video of our day. In addition to Ben and Dane, Julie, Berto and Rachel are seen marching!

New tricks

Here they are all in one...he can crawl for real, soooo big and more. He can also wave incessantly to any and every stranger on the bus and in line at the store.

"call me"

For good or for bad, one of Ben's new favorite toys is an old cell phone. We make fake ring noises and answer it, tell him it's Gail or his Grandma or someone he likes. Hours of entertainment (grouped in 2 min segments of course). He also loves the real phone and once I let him hit the buttons a few times and it changed the ring. We had no idea a) our phone had more than one ring and b) how to change it back. We are getting into our regular rhythms here after a great two week break for Dane. There is no spring involved yet (it snowed today). We are looking forward to Aunt Julie coming up for her (hopefully) spring break.

In other news: a quick shout out to Ben's Aunt Laura in Libertyville. Happy Birthday!
