Ben and Paige

My friend Margaret and her daughter Paige came over to make Christmas cookies with us this week. Here is a sweet clip of Ben and Paige. Paige smiling nice and big; Ben pointing out that Margaret is wearing my apron...and that Paige has teeth. He is a bright one.

Here is Ben with our dear next door neighbour Callah. The first thing he says most mornings is "LAL-A...LAL-A..ball, ball..." We are so sad they are moving but luckily it isn't too far. We won't be playing together at 730AM anymore but we'll still be playing!

FOUR years, three months late

As seen on previous blog posts Dane and I take a picture for our anniversary with the appropriate number in it every year. This year we were a few months late taking it but we didn't have to go very far. The FOUR Brothers Pizza Delivery guy lives on our block!

I have been holding a lot of new babies lately and there are at least three more on the way (not from me though!). Sometimes I forget just how small Ben was. So for those of you who need a quick flash back...here he is on the way to our shower. I think he was about 2 months old.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Halloween 2009

Ben and I had lots of fun dressing up with his friends. We went to visit a neighbour with Gideon, the lion and Levi the tiger first. Then we came and had a quick visit with Rachel. We then met up with our neighbour Callah (the lamb) and one of her friends. We went to about 5 houses and Ben seemed to enjoy himself and we enjoyed most of his candy. Dane on the other hand was stuck home with what seems to be...swine flu.

Grandma Jacks picked out an Ewok costume for Ben but she also sent this sweet nurse/doctor outfit with it. We have trying them out all week (especially when Ben's new BFF Britton the nurse (known as "T" - that is just the "T' sound, not "Tee" came over). It was pretty hard to get a picture of Ben in the Ewok outfit. I'm afraid he likes to take off the mask and say "off" "off" (which incidentally is one of the only times he correctly uses the word "off").

Until the new pool opens!! We went to the open house today to check it out. For you locals it is next to Nat Bailey Stadium at 30th and Ontario.
