Joeys Dinner Club

As most of our "readers" know we have been part of a unique dinner club for about four years. We started with 5 and since we have added 2 and lost 1 (hi Rachel we miss you!) We go out to eat (sans children) every other month. We've tried a ton of great restaurants and make an annual pilgrimmage back to where it all started (Joeys - based on gift certificates that Rachel and I received when rightfully complaining to Joeys after they did not live up to their slogan of "every customer leaves happy." ) Although we often frequent one anothers' homes for other events/meals etc. Joeys has always taken place at a restaurant....until last night. Despite the fact we were missing Dan and Christina we had a nice potluck in our back yard. Mexican lasagna, two fabulous salads, foccaica bread, fresh corn, berry crisp and raspberry ale. Note: if you live anywhere that sells Granville Island Brewing's False Creek Raspberry Ale and haven't tried it - do so immediately!
