Tomorrow officially starts the next season of my life as a stay-at-home-mum. One good thing about Ben coming early is that he came home at the brink of Dane's 2 week Spring Break. Tomorrow Dane goes back to Fraser Valley, thus the new season begins. To be honest I never really thought this day would come. I never envisioned this for my self but I'm really grateful now that it is here. Having such an amazing employer (Jacob's Well) and living in
Canada, I get a year of paid maternity leave. Whoo-hoo!!
Unfortunately my life as a stay-at-home mum isn't starting out exactly as we had thought. The obvious being it is starting way earlier. Also, I can't really walk for more than 15 minutes and I can't drive yet because of my leg. I'm working on staying positive and remembering how far I've come since we discovered this giant blood clot in my hip. We are looking forward to the day when Ben and I have free reign to cruise the town in the BOB.
My mum is coming over to Vancouver this week to help me out and get Ben and I to our various doctor's appointments. He has a weigh in at the pediatrician on Thursday and I finally see the hematologist on Friday.

Good attitude woman. Things are going to shape up. We just have to take it one day at a time! Much love!
Wow! A whole year! That's pretty darn cool! I loved the new found freedom to do what I wanted with my time when I started staying home..., besides taking care of my baby, that is!... which isn't a whole lot of freedom in the least bit, yet still enjoyable...for the most part...;-]
Life as a stay-at-home-Mom...ahhh...and you wonder how I became known as "Wacko Jacko"!!!! These months will be a treasure....I'm so happy for you! Grams
Hey Jane! I'm just getting caught up on your blog---such great pictures! I can't wait to meet the little guy. I hope your first week alone goes well--I'm sure you'll rock the kazbah!
And...I'll see you in 4 weeks!!!
Okay, so I just realized that your first week alone is just ending, not just beginning--I am a little behind...so I hope it went well! And I like how the mum in the picture has red hair!
